Turning – is a popular type of metalworking, necessary for the manufacture of metal products of various sizes and shapes.

  • fracture – appears when cutting low-plastic alloys;
  • stepped – during metal processing of aluminum blanks at medium speed.

Turning of shafts: features

A shaft is a cylindrical product, the length of which is greater than the diameter.
Shafts are needed for various purposes, some of them can reach 1.5 meters in length. Smooth and stepped shafts are distinguished by their shape.

When processing parts, it is necessary:

  • check the alignment of individual sections of the shafts;
