Steam Heads
Steam heads are designed to supply steam to the drying cylinders and remove condensate from them using a scoop or siphon.
Steam heads of two types (HPV and HPN) designed for drying and cloth-drying cylinders of paper-making, cardboard-making and drying machines with operating steam pressure up to 0.6 MPa (6 kgf/cm2). Steam heads of GPV type are manufactured for cylinders with condensate removal by scoop at machine speed up to 250 m/min.

The steam head consists of two parts: movable and fixed. They are sealed with rings made of carbon fiber-based materials. The main parts are made of cast iron, the pipes are made of stainless steel. Steam heads of the GPN type are manufactured for cylinders with condensate removal by a fixed siphon at machine speeds over 250 m/min.

The design of the GPN type steam head consists of two parts: movable and fixed, which are sealed with a ring made on the basis of carbon fiber. The company supplies the necessary spare parts, compensators, siphons, and also offers separate sealing rings made of a composite material – carbon fiber. CFRP rings are excellent at retaining steam and preserving mating surfaces.
